Esperanza, Rachel and Lucy enjoy walking around town in high heels because it makes them feel older and more mature. Since they are fairly young, they don't usually get a lot of attention from men. In their high heels, the men stare at them, and one bum even tries to pay Rachel to kiss him! The three girls are not used to this kind of attention. At first, they enjoy it because it makes them feel special. However, after a while, it gets a little bit creepy. They run home to remove the high heels and never wear them again.
I agree with Rachel, the girls enjoy wearing the high heels because it makes them feel more mature. They're young, and the attention they get from men make them feel older and attractive. The sad thing is, they aren't aware that they're getting the wrong kind of attention until the men start to scare them a bit. Rachel's encounter with the bum was like a wake-up call for them, in the sense that they were ignorant to the fact that men were seeing them as prey instead of young ladies.
Yeah, I agree with Rachel and Tiffanyy. Wearing heels gives the girls the feeling of maturity. And they enjoy the attention they recieve from the guys.
